After reading through the proposal I have many concerns. My first concern is the request to double the daily processing. The second concern was the request to almost double the storage capacity. My next concern is the request to change the expansion of the service from Ontario to ALL of Canada.

My concerns would be related to the increase in truck traffic. It appears that truck traffic would be doubled causing more wear and tear on the roads or more hazardous driving conditions on the roads around the area. What will be done to accommodate the increased road traffic .

This is not a major hi way, the road in that area goes right through a school Zone that the current trucks travelling do not slow down for. It is a 60 zone and they do not abide by it.

The transports that are currently hauling out of the quarries on B-C are already an issue , we don’t need to add more problems! They speed down the road, drive dangerously, don’t secure their loads and have debris falling off cracking windshields.

Unfortunately increasing capacity includes increasing the number of trucks on 169 and through our small community. There are so many truck accidents on 169 near the Hwy 11 exit - increased capacity will only increase the number of accidents.

Please DECLINE this proposal, there is already far too many trucks going in and out of the concessions both on B&C and surrounding! The noise, dust and pollution is too much! We live in the country to breathe fresh and live peaceful lives, please PLEASE think of what this does to our environments!

As a resident in this community, this proposal directly impacts my quality of life and those around me. I am against this proposal. Along with the increase of traffic, noise pollution, air pollution, etc this proposal will significantly impact the local environment as well. Please reconsider.

So they have been here 10 seconds and already making changes? They haven't even picked up once where I reside in Washago. This area is a natural beauty, rivers, trees, greenery, good folks, wildlife in abundance and we want to turn it into a dump for all of CANADA. I say a HARD NO.
I reside on concession b-c that this quarry is located on. The amount of dangerous driving that is occurring already with the volume of trucks that drive to this quarry and others on the road is outrageous.

There is major safety concerns already on this rural road without adding extra amount of traffic. There are homes on this road that shouldn’t have to experience the amount of traffic and big trucks that already are present.

I am against the new proposal. The truckers currently don’t respect the speed limits on B-C Concession nor do they safely share the road when others are out out walking or biking. This is a major safety issue, especially to residents in the area.

The thought of this quarry increasing in capacity is scary. It is dangerous as it is, nevermind doubling the capacity. The truck traffic is already extremely busy. This will have an extremely negative impact on the community.
