This is a bad idea that will result in municipalities having to take land as "park" that does not function as a park. It will also create a burden on tax payers 100%. Who will pay to repair "parks" when the encumbrances need servicing? Read more

Great idea. Please make changes that prohibit developer - who are already providing parkland - from also being required to fund park improvements. We have a draft plan condition that creates this additional cost and its egregious.
