Drain Bros. Excavating Limited has applied for a licence to operate a quarry below the water table, to excavate aggregate from a 20.4 hectare site in the Township of Belmont-Havelock-Methuen.

West Carleton Sand and Gravel Inc. proposes a new entrance/exit in the northeast corner of the pit/quarry onto Moonstone Road north of Willowlea Road.

Frank & Elizabeth Lippa have applied for a Class “A” licence (pit & quarry below water) to excavate aggregate from a pit & quarry of 54.8 hectares in size. This is a new licence application. The annual tonnage condition would allow for up to 200,000 tonnes of aggregate to be extracted per calendar year.

Application has been made by 902474 Ontario, O/B Do–All Construction Limited to amend the current site plan to allow an increase in the number of tonnes of aggregate that may be removed in a calendar year.

Application has been made by Lafarge Canada Inc. to amend the current site plan to allow for the installation of a sediment pond on the quarry floor.

Miller Paving Limited has applied to amend the tonnage condition of Aggregate Licence No. 3851. The request is to increase the amount of aggregate removed from the site annually from 54,420 tonnes to 450,000 tonnes.
