The government has made changes that restore the 15 areas of land that were redesignated or removed from the Greenbelt in December 2022. The Greenbelt Statute Law Amendment Act, 2023 also ensures that any future changes to the Greenbelt boundary can only be made through legislation.

On November 15, 2021, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing filed a Zoning Order, made pursuant to clause 47(1)(a) of the Planning Act, with the Registrar of Regulations as Ontario Regulation 772/21.The City of Toronto requested that the Minister consider making the Zoning Order.

The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the exploration permit application PR-20-000355 to Pistol Bay Mining Inc. to undertake early exploration activities.

Reg.) 446/20, made pursuant to the clause 47(1)(a) of the Planning Act, with the Registrar of Regulations as O. Reg. 27/23. The Town of Oakville requested that the Minister consider amending the Zoning Order.
On October 22, 2020, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing filed a Zoning Order, made pursuant to section 47(1)(a) of the Planning Act, with the Registrar of Regulations as Ontario Regulation (O. Reg.) 596/20 to facilitate the development of housing on lands known municipally as 373 Front Street East and 90 Mill Street, City of Toronto.

Reg.) 167/21. The Municipality of Clarington requested that the Minister consider making a Zoning Order.
