On December 11, 2025, Shell Canada Limited registered this facility under the Air Emissions Environmental Activity and Sector Registry, and the application has been withdrawn by the proponent.
We are proposing amendments to R.R.O. 1990 Regulation 828, under the Niagara Escarpment Planning and Development Act, to clarify, amend and expand existing exemptions for development that do not require a development permit under the Act and exempt additional activities that are unlikely to have a significant environmental impact.
We are amending the Conservation Authorities Act to improve transparency and consistency in conservation authority operations, strengthen municipal and provincial oversight and streamline conservation authority roles in permitting and land use planning.
Permit to Take Water No. 6770-DJLP6A was issued to The Greens at Renton Ltd. on July 17, 2025. Water will be taken from one pond and two wells for golf course irrigation and water supply purposes, located in Norfolk County, Ontario.
