A decision was made to revoke a Minister’s Zoning Order (MZO) that applied to lands added to the City of Stratford (formerly in the Township of Perth South, County of Perth), filed as Ontario Regulation 356/20.
The Ministry of Transportation has decided to no longer proceed with the following proposed e-bike amendments. At this time, the Ministry is proposing to create regulation making authority under the Highway Traffic Act to allow for e-bikes to be categorized into distinct classes with specific operator and vehicle safety requirements.

Reg. 475/20 to provide relief from certain zoning requirements to facilitate the development of a 320-bed long-term care home and associated uses.
On April 6, 2021, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing filed an Amending Zoning Order with the Registrar of Regulations as Ontario Regulation (O. Reg.) 260/21 which amends O. Reg. 474/20 to provide relief from certain zoning requirements to facilitate the development of a 320-bed long-term care home on a portion of the property.
On December 9, 2019, Ontario Regulation 416/19 revoked 29 Minister’s Zoning Orders (MZOs) in northern Ontario. Revoking these 29 MZOs will reduce regulatory burden imposed by the province and will lead to a more consistent approach of development control across northern Ontario for unincorporated areas that are not part of a planning board.
