We amended the Renewable Energy Approval for the Pendleton Solar Energy Centre, 830 County Road 19 in Curran, Ontario, to remove the reference in the approval to the main power transformer at the substation as the transformer is no longer required as part of the facility operations.
We are improving the processes associated with land claim settlement and other agreements with Indigenous communities about land by removing duplication between the Environmental Assessment Act requirements and the Ministry of Indigenous Affairs’ current policies and guidelines.
