We have developed species-specific policies (government response statements) that outline the actions the government intends to lead and support in the protection and recovery of six species at risk in Ontario: Blunt-lobed Woodsia, Colicroot, False Hop Sedge, Scarlet Ammannia, Lowland Toothcup and Eastern Small-footed Myotis.

We have issued a new Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage) to 1266952 Ontario Ltd. for the establishment of a sewage works system, including a bioswale with infiltration trench and storm sewers, to support of the proposed Forest Hill Estates residential subdivision in the Township of East Garafraxa.

We have issued a new Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage) to 1804016 Ontario Inc., for the establishment of sewage works, in support of the Sherwood Forest Subdivision to control the run-off from a land legally described as part of Lot 17, Concession B, in the City of North Bay, District of Nipissing, Ontario.
This new Permit to Take Water (PTTW) servicing Ontario Graphite, Ltd. to take water for industrial purposes was approved on March 27, 2020 under permit No. 6475-BMCTDN. The permit expires on March 27, 2025.

This proposal is for a renewal of Permit to Take Water No. 1213-933SR9 for mining, dewatering and water supply purposes. Water will be taken from one lake, two ponds and two wells at the Kearney Mine, located in Kearney, Ontario.
