I am deeply troubled that the Government of Ontario is trying use the Economy Act to surreptitiously protect the Ontario Place from any development related scrutiny. This creates mistrust in the government by not allowing for public participation around why this project is being protected. Moreover, gives rise to questions around who in the Government is being protected. Seems like a déja vu of the Greenbelt development issue.
