This is a rediculous proposal, just another excuse to ticket tax paying citizens who cannot prove where they bought their minnows. I buy minnows and I salt the left overs so everything gets used, many times they last much longer then 2 weeks. Heck, I keep live minnows in a cooler for longer than 2 weeks. Just because marijuana is legal now doesn't mean you should partake when drafting new legislature! Stop punishing the anglers and making it difficult to be able to take a kid out fishing without memorizing 900 silly rules. The more rules and regulations will push people out of the sport or cause them to be apprehensive to join it. Too much red tape as it is, sometimes its overwhelming planning a fishing or hunting trip with others that do not read the rules as much as I do, as the MNR officers can be quite petty and quick to ticket when a simple warning and educating the public will garner more respect and adherence to the rules. IE Positive Reinforcement not Negative reinforcement, this is 2019 not 1956 try changing your tactics to the proper century!
