The effect on the area, should this quarry mining operation be permitted, would be overwhelmingly negative. Several of the core concerns could not be remediated, only prevented, hence the quarry mine proposal should not be approved. Lire davantage

I am opposed the the proposed Quarry EBR Registry number 011-8511. As a member of the Concerned Residents Coalition in Rockwood, Ontario there are many reasons why I am opposed. My main concern however would be our water source. Lire davantage

I object to the licencing of the “Hidden Quarry” and pit proposed by James Dick Construction at Highway 7 and 6th Line in Guelph-Eramosa Township. It is not clear to me that there is any assurance that the potential damaging impacts of such an operation can be mitigated.
