I wanted to suggest that for the route through Prince Edward County that the Millennium Trail (http://prince-edward-county.com/item/the-millennium-trail/) should be added as an off-road route. The trail runs for approximately 49km from Consecon to just beyond Picton.

Rule changes to the Highway Act should be transmitted to drivers via Highway Electronic Signs or Vehicle license registration forms such as "the 1-metre rule" when passing cyclists.

I am very excited and encouraged by the momentum I have seen in the last few years towards improved cycling infrastructure. I really caught the cycling bug after vacationing in The Netherlands around 10 years ago.

I definitely support this effort and the routs identified seem like a good first step. Note though that the off-road portions can seem fragmented and leaving it that way, may mean a loss of cyclists that would otherwise be interested.

Only reviewed for my city. What's the policy goal? Right now it seems only to pull people to parkways. This isnt cycling strategy. How do people get to and from? What purpose would they have there once they've visited it once as a tourist or gone for a weekly ride.

I fully support any safety measures protecting cyclists and the general public. One suggestion of the widened road ways keeping cyclists safer is to consider budgeting for spring sweeping of the widened shoulders from the winter debris.

I would like to commend the provincial government for their current efforts to connect communities via bicycle routes. I fear however, that the current efforts do not go far enough.

I think this is a great initiative. It will provide an opportunity for safer bicycling, and at the same time open up natural areas for cycling use. Our local Lions Club is involved in the G to G trail initiative and I personally have provided labour for clean up on the trail.

I generally support this plan but would also suggest there be some mechanism to make changes to take into consideration future developments. This should be a living document where suggestions for changes can be made periodically.

Disappointed to see that there are no "Proposed on road routes" running from just east of Gananoque to east of Mallorytown along HWY 2, which is a county owned road downloaded to them by the Provincial Gov't.

The route from the intersection of Edinburgh RD N and Woodlawn RD W in Guelph to Wellington RD 30 (Marden Road) in the Township of Guelph/Eramosa (Wellington County) should not be identified as "Existing Off-Road Route" it should be identified as "Proposed Off-Road Route".

In addition to the scenic cycling routes noted in the north Waterloo-St Jacobs-Hawkesville-Elmira areas, It would make sense to include Arthur Street between Elmira and St. Jacobs as an official cycling route for commuting purposes.

A link from the County of Brant along Highway 54 is required to link with Six Nations and Haldimand County. This link would facilitate tourism opportunities with a cultural focus. This would also align with the Grand River which is used extensively as a "Blue Water Trail".
