Pg 9 under “Building on Success”: It states there is up to $30 million is being spent over the next 5 years under the Climate Change Action Plan.

I have experience with both GLASI priority subwatershed project and with Growing Forward 2. I believe BMP implementation has been much more successful through the GLASI PSP model compared with GF2.

Well done. My concern is as a soil conserving corn, soybean and alfalfa farmer who owns and rents land, I would like to comment on the renting of farmland practice. When I rent land, I treat it as I do my own land and improve upon what I start with by the use of my practices.

Considering the important role that farmers will play in achieving goals for soil health, I am curious to know how many farmers were included on the working group, attended consultations or contributed their comments. Could that number be made public?
