This is my home and I want a climate plan for Ontario. Bill 4 is not the answer. You have to think about the future and generations to come not just now.

Keep the climate law! You need to: Create a real climate change plan to reduce emissions, to help people save money by saving energy and to create jobs in the $26 trillion clean economy. Lire davantage

We desperately need a real climate change plan to reduce emissions and to set legally binding emissions targets in line with our obligations under the Paris Climate Agreement. Time is running out. We must get serious about the effects of climate change. Put partisan interests aside. Lire davantage

It is naive to believe that Ontario can go forward for very long without a carbon pollution tax of some kind. Even if the Canadian government were to not impose one, it is likely that other economies will eventually penalize trade with Ontario for the lack of such. Lire davantage

Please, please, please. The environment is begging us humans to stop and think and change and start taking care of and protecting this home that we rely on and our children will rely on for our resources and lives. Lire davantage

I want tax payers to know the cost for the cancellation of cap and trade before it is done. I want Ontario to end subsidies and handouts for fossil fuel companies and redirect this money to clean energy solutions. Lire davantage

In my opinion this matter is THE most important for our province, country, and globe. At the VERY LEAST we need to stick with the Paris accord--and make it legally binding. We know that the only way to stop polluters, or encourage them to reduce emissions, is to make them pay. Lire davantage

There was a climate change policy in place, now there is not. Climate change is a real, ongoing, andperment phenomenon that must be addressed proactively, not reactively. Ontario needs a legally binding climate change policy in line with the Paris climate agreement. Lire davantage

How very sad to hear that our Premier, Doug Ford, took a day off Queen's Park today to join rallies out west against pollution pricing! I live in the heart of southwestern Ontario, where the air quality is often worse than it is in Toronto! Lire davantage

As a life long citizen of Canada and specifically the province of Ontario I have always been proud that we often lead the world in many areas. Policy is strong, actions are demonstrated in practical application. That are what leaders do and how they act. Lire davantage

I would like to register my dismay at the elimination of the cap and trade policy by the current government. I believe that climate change is the biggest challenge humanity faces, now and unfortunately for our grandchildren, in the future. Lire davantage

This is the wrong direction to be going. Creating market pricing for pollution is a good way to ensure that market mechanisms are available to create a business case for companies to reduce pollution. Lire davantage
