I've already communicated with the local branch of the Ministry of Environment on this issue. You see AIM is a Global Company and this so called Shredder they intend to bring online will cause "explosions". Mr Black, there CEO, has openly stated on many CBC reports from there facility in St.

The area that we live in just off of Parkdale and Burlington St . already is causing more than enough health issues . The dirt from AIM and Columbia Carbon , and Tripple Metal is pathetic.

I live in the air boundary of AIM and find the fumes very dangerous trying to get around the air variances and not notifying the neighborhood of the changes is very sneaky and underhanded.; Our homes on the south side; of Aim feel the blasts from the process of destroying and sorting of metals .

I believe it needs an EPA assessment for this company very noisy especially through the summer where they wake you at 2 three 4 in the morning with the noise thank you

I've already commented on this, but since then American Iron and Steel (AIM) has openly stated they know they are impacting our community.

AIM has impacted this neighbourhood more than most residents seem fair. So I think the Ministry needs to hold a community meeting. The residents need to be informed on how the Ministry is protecting this neighbourhood and get feedback from the residents from this impact.

I know AIM has put all these improvements on the table showing how they intend to mitigate the noise with Sound Walls and Acoustic sound diverters, etc. But this is all Theory...none of this has been proven that it will actually quieten or lower the noise decibels they generate.
