Please continue to extend the moratorium on water permits. I would also like to see a complete ban on the sale of bottled water in Canada, and a complete ban on removing ground water for bottled water consumption.

Nothing needs to be extended as far as any water extraction. $500 per million litres is ludacris. Please stop selling the most important resource on the planet for pocket change.

The fact that our planet is on fire and large corporations pay LITTLE TO NOTHING to take actual water and sell it back to people in need is mind boggling. Please extend this.

This does not go nearly far enough. An absurd profit is made at the cost of the taxpayers and the long term future of the Canadian people. If we are going to be destroying our home for profit at the very least WE should be the ones getting the profit from it. Lire davantage

We need to stop allowing Nestle to take our water. Our natural resources are precious, especially as we continue to face increasing effects of climate change. Bottled water is unnecessary and wasteful. No more access for Nestle!

Nestle is taking only $2.25 for a MILLION litres. How???? Look at the average person's waterbill and you let Nestle take $2.25 for a Million Litres!!! Lire davantage

Stop allowing companies to take our water for such extremely low prices and profit so heavily from it. Do not increase the permit allowance, decrease it and increase the price enough that it is actually profitable or at least offsets the water being stolen from our land.

Nestle shouldn't be allowed to just pump our water and sell it back to us. How is that okay? We are being taken as chumps to this corporation. You guys are literally the only people who can do anything about it. It's a finite resource and what we just give it to them? Please re-evaluate this. Lire davantage

It is absolutely abhorrent that Nestlé is able to buy Canada’s water and resell it for such a cheap price. It damages our environment when they resell it in plastic bottles. They do not have Canada’s best interests in mind and are continuously harming our population. Lire davantage

I cannot fathom why we are still allowing the theft of our most coveted resource and then allowing it to be bottled, polluting our planet. Done even get me started on the profits that Nestle et al are making. Just stop it! Now please!

Freshwater is an extremely important resource and should cost corporations at least as much as it costs citizens! Nestle is a corporation with a long history of abuse and gets millions of liters for shockingly low costs. Lire davantage

DO NOT let any company (especially Nestle) take our groundwater for profits without making them pay sufficiently for it. It should not be easy for them to take our water just to sell back at exorbitant prices. What a stupid and ridiculous idea. Don't be a slave to corporations.

Extend the moratorium - yes - absolutely and of course! We shouldn't be selling our water period, yet we are selling it for pennies. Not figurative pennies - literally one penny for every 200 litres, which they then sell back to us for $80.00 (or even worse, they ship it out of our province). Lire davantage

"In Ontario, we currently pay $503.71 per million litres extracted." - From Nestle's actual website Please don't let Nestle buy our water for peanuts and sell it back to us. Lire davantage

With climate change accelerating at a terrifying rate, Canada's freshwater lakes are very quickly going to become more valuable than our oil or other natural resources. We need to nip this in the bud now before the value of our water rises even higher. Lire davantage
