I’m opposed to bill 23. The Greenbelt is a protected space and should remain protected. I firmly believe it would be not only wrong to destroy the land, but extremely detrimental to the wildlife that inhabit that space.

I am absolutely opposed to Bill 23 and the proposed changes to the Greenbelt. Doug Ford promised to not touch the Greenbelt numerous times. He needs to stand by his words. The Greenbelt is protected lands for a reason- we don't need development in this ecologically important land. Lire davantage

I am highly disappointed that the government is amending the Greenbelt plan to remove protections on existing lands. The government previously committed to not swapping or adding additional Greenbelt lands in exchange for removing existing lands. Lire davantage

Please don’t destroy the green belt. We need more wetland and green spaces to combat climate change and manage severe weather/water events. Building on the green belt will not accomplish enough benefit to justify the damage to the surrounding areas. Lire davantage

The Greenbelt is an important part of Ontario's ecological system. Please protect the land. This rapid urban sprawl is fiscally irresponsible. We need to densify and build up, not outwards.
