Reducing the Greenbelt is short-sighted. The environmental degradation due to sprawl, increased car trafifc (including from the new highway), and loss of valuable farmland will be immense and nearly impossible to rectify.

I'm very concerned about expanding urban boundaries at the expense of protected land. If there is a corresponding push away from single family homes and further densification with proper public transit, trains, etc then perhaps this is acceptable. Without the overall picture I cannot support

Supports biodiversity , helps control flood areas, protect our water tables, creates areas for everyone to enjoy, houses important sensitive ecosystems, and much more.
