The Environmental Act is there for a reason, to help protect the environment. To take away these safe guards is unacceptable, they are there to protect the environment from greed and corruption.

It is vital to have public notice and public consultation requirements as the government is responsible to the people of Ontario and cannot/should not make broad sweeping decisions that benefit a chosen few rather than the people who actually live in the area.
