The HCA is not in agreement with this absurd merger proposal and neither are we. Conservation authorities are in tune with the needs of the area which requires knowledge of local concerns regarding geography, waterways, floodplains and wildlife. Lire davantage

I do not support the proposed merger of conservation authorities. Hamilton and Puslinch rely on the Hamilton Conservation Authority because it understands our land, our trails, our waterways, and our community needs. These decisions need to stay local. Lire davantage

Under NO circumstances should you merge the Conservation Authorities. Local Conservation Authorities understand the region's needs, landscape, and flora and fauna. Programming engages all members of the community. This is another attack on Ontario's environment.

I do not support the merger. It is important to keep these areas under local authority. The ecosystems spanning each area are also vastly different and it would be much harder to manage with these larger regional authorities.
