With the passing of the Unleashing our Economy bill I'm worried that conservation efforts will be of little concern to developers.
The Piping Plovers at Wasaga beach need to be protected by people who understand their plight. Dune alteration and beach raking will destroy their nests and natural habitat.
Please consult experts, include enough funding for conservation efforts and leave some of the beautiful habitat as it is.
