This political agenda is complete Hogwash and punishes people who don't have cars. Ford manages to overlook the fact that more cars = more congestion, just so he can suit his own personal agenda. It's very obvious that he opposes the bike lanes because he perceives that they are the cause to traffic congestion from his home in Etobicoke to downtown.
Not to mention that it would endanger the lives of ordinary Torontonians who rely on the bike lanes to keep safe.
Doug Ford, shame on you.
(This comment is coming from someone that drives regularly due to a lack of attractive public transit or bike lane options in their area). We should be spending money and time investing in Public transit, so the roads are free to those who don't have any other choice.
