This is a huge Province with very unique ecosystems. By consolidating the conservation authorities you would be lumping in too many unique areas.... Then use a broad brush when a stylus is necessary to support their needs. The Ford government is dismantling the environmental protections put into place by previous governments. Not all at once but methodically and deviously. Now is the the time to double down on bolstering environmental protections NOT dismantling and cutting supposed "fat" from government. We don't even have the Ontario Ministry of Environment anymore. This says a lot. DON'T TOUCH THE CURRENT CONSERVATION AUTHORITIES CURRENTLY IN PLACE.
