Merging the LRCA with Southern Ontario authorities makes very little sense when it comes to protecting the watershed in the Thunder Bay Area. The challenges are greatly different from the north to the south part of the province and the geography itself is counter productive to efficiencies and cost savings. Please recognize the need to maintain the north while addressing the inefficiencies that exist in the south. Just a simple look at the proposed region map makes it obvious to the entrained eye that this new structure doesn’t make sense or serve the north well. Do better!
