Overall, I am very pleased with the many initiatives the government is developing. The document is also a bit of a high level document and it is hard to find something to disagree with.  I have a few small comments.

The bike paths/bike lanes need to be continuous. I travel from the East End to a downtown hospital on University Ave. everyday. There is NO continuous bike route. I white knuckle it on my ride when after I leave sherbourne or dundas or gerrard or adelaide when riding. Lire davantage

The description of your plan sounds wonderful but it is clear that your government is more interested in promoting car use than active transportation. Lire davantage

1) North York needs a North-South and East-West grid of protected bike lanes. Recent meetings have involved Re-Imagining Yonge Street. But a cyclist can't get to Yonge Street in a direct manner from the East or the West without meandering through side-streets or park trails. Lire davantage

for inter-city bicycle transportation - this could include some travel on old rail trails, but need amenities to support people on bike tours, so highways that pass through towns better. Bonus of providing income to small towns in rural areas. --- Lire davantage

Ontario has a long way to go to catch up with the rest of the world on two-wheeled transportation. To get more people to choose cycling, it must be made easy for ordinary, non-athletic people of all ages and abilities to get on a bike. Lire davantage
