We have to have an emmissions program and it should be one that all Canadians can participate not just companies. The future depends on it. Lire davantage

I want Ontario to put a price on pollution, making polluters pay for their emissions and returning the revenues to the pockets of Ontarians so they can lower their carbon footprint. Lire davantage

Ontario needs Environmental protections in place, global warming is a legitimate threat to the future habitability of the planet. Making these changes is short sighted, jeopardizes the future of our province, country and world, and appeases only the oil and gas companies and big polluters. Lire davantage

We should not be backtracking on clean and renewable energy. Ontarians should be encouraged to switch to green options, not only for the earth, but for our children. Fossil fuels are the past and clean energy is the future. Encourage it. Make a change (but not a bad one!) Lire davantage

If you are thinking along financial lines, in the end the cancellation of the green energies incentives will cost more -- in legal fees arising from law suits from cancelled contracts, and fighting the federal government, and in severe climate-change weather events that destroy properties, lives and Lire davantage

I submit that this act on the part of the government of Ontario is foolish in the extreme. We must all do what we can to mitigate the effects of climate change. If you think you have a better proposal, then let's hear it. Lire davantage

The environment is important to me and should be important to our government as well, after all a sick plant will help no one. Canceling Bill 4 (cap and Trade) is the wrong thing to do. Lire davantage

Please rethink your stance on environmental issues. Cap and trade is only a half measure in itself but, and I will put this in language Conservatives can understand, it was profitable. Lire davantage

The passing of bill 4 is the worst thing that could happen. This bill is not in the interest of the Ontario people; climate change is the largest issue facing humanity and this bill will put us decades behind any chance a clean and green future. Lire davantage

This proposal is irresponsible. Climate change should be our province's top priority. Ontario needs to put and keep a price on carbon. Ontario should be 100% clean energy by 2050 if not earlier. Lire davantage

Bill 4 is a retrograde and harmful proposal. Humanity is facing a CLIMATE CRISIS and new evidence of that surfaces every day. Storms, flooding, wildfires, rising sea levels, droughts -- all are on the increase. Lire davantage

I am appalled that Ontario's cap and trade system may be dismantled. This is a completely irresponsible idea designed to help rich corporations and their shareholders make more short term profit and the expense of the rest of us and the future stability of our environment and economy. I want Ontario to be a leader. I want Ontario to focus on clean energy, create green jobs and take part in the clean economy. Our turning point for repairing and reducing the damage we have done to our planet is narrowing. The green economy is the way. Lire davantage
