l do not think any more permits for extracting water should be allowed. lt opens the door for foreign company's to come in and export all our water, to the detriment of Canadian citizens.

I think there should be NO new permits to take water in Ontario, and existing bottlers should have their permits reviewed and wound down on a timeline that allows their employees to reenter the workforce. Bottled water is only essential in emergencies. Lire davantage

Please implement a longer than one-year ban on water taking from Ontario sources. Industry pays pennies on the dollar for taking non-renewable water resources from the ground, and most often it is rural Ontario communities that are disproportionately affected. Lire davantage

We must stop these large corporations from taking our water from it's source. We must put an end to bottled water and the pollution it leaves behind. Put the environment before the corporate profit.

Corporations have no right to profit from our ground water and strap us with the cost of recycling and such. Please make it mandatory to have filtered water fountains that are easily accessible in all public spaces e.g. food courts in malls etc. Lire davantage

I believe that the government should stop renewing permits to nestle until they look into the research that nestle is taking all the water while the people on that land don't even have clean water for drinking.

There is no reason to provide water bottling permits. These unnecessarily use up an important resource and encourage the introduction of plastics into the environment. Private companies should not be profiting from a necessary public resource. One-use plastics need to be abolished. Lire davantage
