Please include animals (pets, livestock, animals in shelters, zoos, sanctuaries) in the evacuation plans. Please also have a protocol to rescue wild animals and lost domestic animals from the smoke and fire.

I am not completely clear as to why southern Ontario would not be included in this strategy. While I understand that northern Ontario is at far greater risk for wildland fires, southern Ontario is not without risk, especially Eastern Ontario. Lire davantage

Please include rescue and evacuation of both pets, farm animals, and wildlife during bush fires. Their lives and homes are as valuable as humans. They too are sentient and need to be with their families.
