This plan is appalling and absolutely disgusting. Find a different way to send this sewage anywhere but into the water on the lakeshore or any other river or stream we use as our water supply.

Diverting sewage into the West Channel will create health risk for beachgoers, rowers and swimmers that use that water front. Polluting public water so that Therme, a private Austrian firm, can build a large spa on public waterfront land. It’s crazy and should not proceed.

The trees on Ontario Place have already been decimated in the dead of night. Coyotes roam nearby Liberty Village in search of habitat. Ontario Place’s beach was a wonderful swimming spot, and the harbour is treasured by locals for paddle boarding. Lire davantage
