Do not allow PTTWs to be transferable. They could sit in with a new owner for years, then suddenly be used. And the amount of water taking allowed should reflect a reasonable amount, not the usual upper limit which is unsustainably high. Thank you, Lire davantage

I strongly oppose the proposed regulation that would allow companies who own water permits to transfer their permit from one company to another without reapplying, because this would allow a business to be sold to a new owner who could inherit the water rights without additional review. Water, and public access to clean drinking water, needs to be protected. Environmental protections on water need to be strengthened and not diminished. Please do NOT fast track water taking permits. Water should be a public resource for the public good not a commodity sold for profit. Lire davantage
