I do not agree with the new proposed plan. Everyone is re-inventing the wheel these days. Why tamper with a system that works? Each municipality has worked very hard for years to foster the present day conservation authorities. To have all that formed into a larger entity is wrong.

HCA is doing a great job! I feel joining the conservation authorities together would create more havoc and accomplish less. It is not broke. There's no need to fix it!

I support HCA’s submission to the ERO. I am afraid of losing great results of their work for people and local environment. I am worried about reduced local decision-making and believe conservation decisions should continue to be made within our community.

Lakehead Regional conservation area does not need to be combined with any other conservation area. It is covering a large enough area as is and does not include similar geography topography or population as the area that is proposed for area to merge with. I am very much against this merger.
