I do not support the newly proposed boundaries and believe the conservation authorities should be kept as local as possible. We agree with the positions stated by the Hamilton Conservation Authority.

As a Conservation Authority member I am firmly against the merger. Local management is key to understanding and managing these regions for safety, planning, resource management and recreation. Local conservation authority is vital to the well being of our communities.

We live close to a number of Hamilton conservation areas. This reminds me of the decade old vote to join Hamilton in Waterdown, Dundas and other independent areas. The promis was similar.
