Oakville has a better plan for this area and the province does not need to get involved. The condos that are already being built in North Oakville are not being filled so there is no need for thousands more. Lire davantage

Little or no thought has been given about easy access in an d out of the area which is highly likely to be gridlocked most of the day. There is no planning for easy connection such as pedestrian and cycle bridges over the QEW so that the shopping mall on the North side can be safely connected. Lire davantage

Re: 11 skyscrapers in midtown Oakville. I do not agree with this decision. It will create too much traffic congestion. It will permanently change the face and feel of Oakville. Increasing density to that extent will likely increase crime. Lire davantage

Terrible idea. Far too many people and units for this area. Will create a daily traffic nightmare for this area. Lire davantage

Skyrises don't match skyline of Oakville. Traflagar is already over capacity during rushhour. The premium vibe of the area that includes Wholefoods is more than likely to deteriorate with excess residents. Stop the nonsense. Lire davantage

I am not opposed to development of this type, however, I would need to be assured that the infrastructure required to support a development of this size would be either pre-existing or built into the plan. Lire davantage

Given the generous zoning allowing higher-density coverage for these properties in Oakville mid-town, what are the mandated time-frames for the completion of the towers? If the MZO is meant to help with housing affordability without a time-frame, how does this help the housing crisis? Lire davantage

I wish to express my serious concern regarding the proposed Transit Oriented Community. The plan, as currently presented, represents an excessive and disproportionate level of density that is both unprecedented and unsustainable within Oakville. Lire davantage

This is not a good idea in any way. Any one who actually lives in Oakville knows that over the years it has become increasingly busy with people and traffic. Lire davantage

As a long time resident of Oakville, I am horrified by the high density housing proposal - planned for mid-town Oakville. There is insufficient infrastructure to support this. Lire davantage

I feel it is important to only build in a community when there is the infrastructure in place to do so and there is not in mid town of Oakville. Lire davantage

Extreme highrises such as these are inappropriate especially with the current market for new condos . 12 stories is more appropriate for the neighborhood( this is not downtown Toronto or New York City ) If condos are being built near the Go they need to be affordable and family friendly i.e. Lire davantage

I have lived in Oakville since 1987. I love this community. I am totally opposed to the TOC plan for Oakville for oh so many reasons. The density proposed is higher than any area in Hong Kong. Ridiculous. It just isn’t Oakville. Lire davantage

I personally feel that the density and building height as expressed in the Oakville Town's OPA in GO train location (Mid Town) is more than adequate. TOC is a bloated and 'overcrowding' and money grabbing development proposal. Only 1 bidder (Distrikt) allowed this "extravagance"?? Lire davantage

I strongly disagree with Infrastructure Ontario's latest TOC proposal for Oakville Ontario. This proposal completely ignores the collapse of the condominium market. Lire davantage

this development is too much for this part of Oakville. it should be cut in half. i thought we had designated the dundas and Trafalgar road area for this type of development? even in that area we don't have anything close to 56 stories. why??

Hello. As a lifelong (47 years) Oakville resident, construction of more condos and removal of green space and golf courses for more development of mixed density housing and condos has to stop. The town streets and QEW/403 cannot accommodate more traffic. There is not enough parking. Lire davantage
