If changes are made to the Species act it will have huge impacts on our native wildlife, Removing Harrassment from the Act means you are allowing people to interrupt the way of species natural living and what they have left. Read more

I, and every other biologist, oppose this bill. This will lead to the destruction of vital ecosystems, which will cause species’ to decline. A habitat is not only the area an animal breeds in; it’s where they hunt, sleep, patrol and mate in. Read more

This is a very short-sighted plan. Letting developers start work without any assessment will mean that it's too late to prevent the development if it proves to be outside of what is permitted. Not requiring an advisory committee will lead people to make uniformed decisions. Read more

This is an absolutely diabolical plan to strip Ontario of much of its natural beauty. I understand the need for homes and expansion of or towns, cities, and space. However this expansion should not come at the cost of Ontario's future. Read more

These protections should not and cannot be allowed to be weakened. I strongly oppose the weakening of the Endangered Species Act and oppose the proposal for the Species Conservation Act. We need to uphold our biodiversity and our ecological and environmental health with stronger protections. Read more
