Hard NO. This proposal has no merit concerning the protection of species at risk and only facilitates the removal of their protective legislation and development of their existing habitat. Read more

We lose more wild spaces in this province every day. Not only could this bill result in massive destruction of habitats, but in the extinction of some of our beautiful native wildlife. We have a duty to protect our beautiful province and the living things that help make it so beautiful. Read more

The proposed changes are representative of this governments blatant disregard for the environmental health of our beautiful province. These changes would do nothing but further contribute to the degredation of our natural resources and wildspaces. Once we lose a species, we CANNOT GET IT BACK. Read more

This is a terrible proposal that kills off more important species in our ecosystem. I'm sick of seeing selfish people defending these horrid actions based on false conservative talking points. The PC party should never win another election in Ontario. Read more

This proposal goes against all the work that has been put in place to protect the important species that contribute to a healthy ecosystem. Not only is it going backwards, it could also contribute to the destruction of many habitats and the extinction of many species that support our environment.

This is ridiculous! Legislature protecting endangered wildlife and the environment exists for a reason. There already isn’t enough as is, this proposal is crazy. Ontarian's want our land and its organisms (especially sensitive ones) to be protected at all costs! Read more

Removing key environmental legislation that protects nature and wildlife in Ontario is important. This amendment will make it more streamline to build on some of the most important farmland, wetlands and forests around Ontario. Read more

The proposed changes to the Endangered Soecies Act would be devastating to the wildlife and natural landscape in Ontario. Our remaining wildlife is too fragile to support these reckless changes and risks ruining the beauty of Ontario for future generations. Read more

The environment needs to be protected over short-sighted gains, the proposed changes are ripe for abuse. There is no good reason to speed this important review process up and put the environment at greater risk for exploitation. As an Ontarian, I'm outraged at this proposal.

This legislation stinks of corruption. Allowing developers and industrialists to destroy previously protected habitats and endangered species worsens the survivability of already weakened and disappearing globally rare habitats. Read more

This proposal will cause many ecosystem evaluators to lose their jobs, effecting their families and home lives. As well as hurting the ecosystems around us. We have ONE EARTH and political systems continue to strip it of its natural resources until there is nothing left. Read more

You CANNOT: - Gut environmental assessment processes. - Fast-track mining and infrastructure development — including in ecologically sensitive and contested areas like the Ring of Fire — without proper consultation or consent from Indigenous communities. Read more

As a resident of Ontario, I strongly oppose any weakening of the Endangered Species Act or the creation of legislation that speeds up development at the cost of wildlife and ecosystems. Delays and costs are not a justification for sacrificing Ontario’s rich biodiversity. Read more

Am furious and heartbroken about this! What an ignorant inhuman...pos...Why has he decided to destroy the magnificance of Ontario and its environment and wildlife?! I lived in Ontario for 18 years. Then moved to Alberta. We are dealing with the same here with the Trumpette as Premier! Read more

As a registered voter residing in Northumberland County I oppose any changes to the Endangered Species Act. These species are endangered due to human interference first and foremost and removing the protections placed almost 20 years ago is wrong. Read more

No one in their right mind would agree to this. I’m tired of the environment being at risk every time Doug ford wants to bulldoze another protected species, wetland, and even our green belt to mine and drill.
