Most of Dresden is a flood zone, which is very concerning due to potentially contaminated water from the dump location. It is entirely too close to town and waterways that drain into much bigger watersheds.

The proposed size of this dump is massive. The amount of trucks hauling garbage here will be huge.
Our community is not designed to handle a large amount of trucks, every day of every year.

Don’t go back on your word Ford. We already fought for an environmental assessment and it’s crazy we’re having to do it all over again a year later. We want to keep our family, friends, community and environment safe. Would you put this in your backyard? I don’t think so.
No thanks, we don't want a dump reopened to accommodate Toronto's garbage. We also find it very problematic when governments try to push things through by removing environmental assessments. Sketchy.
