I feel this legislation runs roughshod over democracy. It indicates to me that we have a weak premier who wants to get things accomplished in a dictatorial manner.
Municipalities care about what is built in their area because they live there along with their neighbours. They have skin in the game. They also know all too well that their kids have trouble leaving the nest because of the under supply of housing.
