If more trips were taken on bicycles there would be more space for car drivers. Buying land and widening for cycle laws when it can be done through reducing vehicle lanes is a waste of my tax money. More asphalt for any reason is wrong. Read more

This is ridiculous overreach. Can cities and municipalities not plan their own roads? The hatred against cyclists is one thing, but now the government is also against buses and public transit? Read more

This bill is a horrible idea. The advantages of things like bike infrastructure (Which we are severely lacking) are very well studied and well documented. The advantages of reducing cars and car dependant infrastructure (Which we have way too much of) are also very well studied and documented. Read more

I'd like to get to work safely and in a clean way. You know how much parking is down town? It's hundreds of dollars. And it makes literally no business happen, half those lots could be booming businesses. Read more

Please do not allow for the reduction of bike lanes. They save lives. I bike to work every day and have the right to a safe ride. In addition, biking furthers any sound environment plan and should be supported. Read more

We need more bike lanes which will improve traffic flow! A reduction of bike lanes (or limiting the ability for the city to install them) will: -Worsen traffic congestion, not reduce it. The government’s own experts have consistently said that bike lanes are not a cause of gridlock. Read more

Municipalities should have full control over managing local roadways. If they decide to add, remove, or modify bike lanes (or other aspects of the road) then it should be in the control of the municipality (so long as the changes done are safe and reasonable). Read more
