This Transit-Oriented Community (TOC) fails to comply with Premier Ford’s Build Homes Faster agenda and will not deliver a single home before 2031, the Province’s own housing deadline, and will take 25 years to complete. OPA70 is a better alternative and is ready to go.

The development plans for Mid-Town Core of Oakville are generationally important for Halton and Ontario as they essentially build a new city in a land-locked gateway to Oakville.

The OPA70 is a better solution to current housing challenges in Oakville than the TOC. OPA 70 is ready for immediate development supporting the creation of mixed-use neighbourhoods, fostering a sense of belonging, and safety.
