The proposed MZOs for Oakville are completely misguided. The area is not large enough to accommodate to proposed density. The inability to add roads to the west of the property due to geographical constraints will mean traffic going east will be completely gridlocked. Read more

i am commenting on the MZO process as it is being proposed for Oakville. The Trafalgar/QEW proposal is ludicrous. It is primarily to enrich the developer who will likely sell the condos to investors. It won't provide meaningful housing of the type needed. Most of it will be studio or one bedroom. Read more

This Transit-Oriented Community (TOC) fails to comply with Premier Ford’s Build Homes Faster agenda and will not deliver a single home before 2031, the Province’s own housing deadline, and will take 25 years to complete. OPA70 is a better alternative and is ready to go. Read more

The condominium market has collapsed. The house market is going down. For the foreseeable future, the shouting match with USA will help the liberal government (which includes Ontario government) to crush our economy. Car manufacturers are going south of the border. Read more

While it is generally a good idea to find ways to grow our town, the proposal for development in the old GE site is, in a word, ridiculous. For one - the traffic around this area at rush hour is already way too busy, with upwards of 45 to 60 minutes to travel this corridor. Read more
