I am a 30+ year resident of Oakville. I am very opposed to the Province of Ontario using a MZO to force an ultra high density project into a town that does not need such a type of housing in an area that lacks the infrastructure to support such a project. Read more

I vote against the provincial request for 4 Minister's Zoning Orders for the TOC in the Town of Oakville. MZOs would force reckless density on Midtown Oakville, overwhelming services that are already stressed. Oakville does not deserve the chaos and lack of livability that would result. Read more

I am against the MOZ overriding the towns urban planning. The MOZ density is far above any other urban areas. There is limited infrastructure. The expected dates are way in the future and the needs may change. There is a glut of empty units in Toronto. Read more

I am not opposed to responsible, locally-planned development around the GO station in Oakville. I AM opposed to the massive condo towers that would be crammed into the midtown area should an MZO be implemented. Read more
