#1 Should Ontario harmonize with the federal reporting requirements under the Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program (GHGRP) (e.g., mandatory methods, Global Warming)?
Only duplicated data should be harmonized. All other unique data must be maintain and preserved.

The regulations must remain mandatory as they provide critical enforcement. The regulatory expenses for corporations are a small price of having the privilege of being able to operate in Ontario while keeping environmental regulations a priority for all. Therefore, I strongly oppose the proposal.
I am absolutely is support of all industry, especially fuel providers, being required to report greenhouse gas emissions resulting from the consumption of consumable or disposable products those businesses supply to the marketplace.

Ontario needs to maintain the current level of tracking on major emitters of greenhouse gasses. This is an issue which directly threatens all of us, I am opposed to lowering the level of oversight.

Please stop dismantling the environmental polices in Ontario. We have already been forced to abandon the Cap and Trade system which was much better than a carbon tax and now you are proposing cutting emission reporting requirements.

Hi. I read online that the Ontario Government is considering changing legislation that would make it less likely that Oil and Gas companies operating in Province would report their GHG emissions.

Accurate data on GHG emissions is essential to Ontario's future. We to ensure that we understand the way fuels are produced, distributed and used so that measures to reduce GHG fuel use can be effective.

Why would you harmonize with the federal reporting requirements under the Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program (GHGRP) (e.g., mandatory methods, Global Warming)? when according to the government climate change doesn't even exist?
This is OUTRAGEOUS! Sticking your head in the sand won't make climate change go away. Parents such as myself are getting increasingly desperate to reduce fossil fuel consumption in Ontario -- if you won't even record how much gas we are burning... what can a desperate father do?

Good day. I am legitimately no one special, just a 4th year undergraduate student at York U. However, I value the environment (at least to an extent).

Environmental crisis is not only immanent it is upon us. Scientific study after scientific study confirms that we must act urgently as a collective. The province of Ontario needs to cooperate with the federal initiative to track green house gas emissions and support a price on carbon.

The following is an expression of my utter frustration with the failures of all those who seek to dismantle truth and to subsequently deny responsibility.

Emissions reporting is integral if we are serious about tackling climate change and reducing emissions. This government is not demonstrating that it values the will of Ontarians. In the last environmental consultation, fewer than 1% of respondents supported the cancellation of cap and trade.

Have you guys lost your minds? You want to purposely harmonize with the federal government when it comes to reporting certain emissions from big polluters, but you have no interest in harmonizing with the federal government when it comes to a carbon tax?

This proposal is completely absurd and hazardous to the environment and the people with whom you are the "leader" of. Stricter observations and punishments need to be given for damage done by coal and oil companies.
I am deeply concerned about the proposal to remove mandatory reporting and verification for the emissions from fuel sold by Ontario oil and gas companies.

This is not right. Climate change is real, and for the sake of every Ontarian's kids, and all of us, we must increase our policies for mitigating climate change, not consider options for decreasing them.
