I am a neighbour to the Miller Boyington Pit #3. I strongly oppose the application for 36 hectares of land to be removed from MNR oversight. This land is part of the Oak Ridges Moraine and sits on top of a highly vulnerable aquifer. Read more

Miller Paving, like other big industrial companies, must follow the regulations for rehabilitating a portion of their site rather than finding ways around that obligation. Additionally, the current zoning should remain as it is - to protect the environment, the moraine and our planet. Read more

I am very concerned with this application being adjusted give Miller much more leeway outside of the original agreement. There should be public discussion given how much this area is already under siege by aggregate and related transport!

I am against this plan. Ontario's Green Belt, The Oak Ridges Moraine, and green spaces in general should not be open for development. This project will greatly increase heavy truck traffic in the area. The roads are not large as this is a relatively small farming community. Read more

Our family living in the neighbourhood adjacent to Miller Pavings pit have listened to the noise and beeping of the backhoes for months. The reason we chose our two acre property in this vicinity was because of nature, the moraine and the trails. Read more

I live a short distance away from this pit, and am aghast at the proposal to establish a huge industrial operation there. From what I know, Miller Paving has flaunted the regulations and license provisions for many years, and it's time to stop this nonsense. Read more
