No, Mr Ford, We do not need quick fixes but innovative, long term solutions that do not trample on the rights of the citizens or destroy the environment. This act does both of those things and incidentally lines the pockets of rapacious developers who are only interested in profits. Read more

I am against changes to conservation authorities’ scope of practice, and to opening the green belt for development. We have seen in other countries and in Canada itself what poor environmental planning can cost a country. Read more

This is absolutely abysmal. We all know that the people who need homes won't be able to afford the million dollar, poorly built monstrosities that you want to construct far away from any amenities! This is very clearly Ford's plan to put money into the pockets of developers. Read more

Please consider amending the restriction on third party appeals. As currently drafted, it would prevent a landowner from appealing a municipally-initiated Zoning By-law (Amendment) or Official Plan (Amendment) or Secondary Plan to directly applies to a landowner's property. Read more
