We are against the dresden dump plan. We all have health issues with lungs and the environment will be compromised. Our grandchildren and pets and wildlife need a healthy environment. An indepth study needs to be done on environmental impact.

My wife and I moved to Dresden On. to retire. Our children and grandchildren moved here to raise their children in a small rural town, away from noise, and diesel fume pollution and an increase in truck traffic, all of which will increase if this dump comes to our town.

This proposal is taking advantage of a dormant, no longer used dump with a permit granted almost 45 years ago. York1 has targeted our small community and this location to get around new laws and requirements and take advantage of old, outdated permits.

The location of the proposed landfill is within a flood plane, construction within the flood plane has been prohibited for residential use for many years, I don’t understand how construction of a major waste processing facility can be permitted.

A full environmental assessment needs to be completed with an attention to noise pollution. This proposed landfill is expected to operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, heavy machinery and the 700 trucks a day are going to be operated constantly around the clock.
