I am writing as a parent of children who attend school directly beside the parcel of land currently being considered for hunting access. I cannot understand how anyone could consider permitting the use of firearms so close to a school environment where young children learn and play every day. Read more

Within the proposed area are two well known and loved recreational rock climbing areas: The Swamp, and Metcalfe Rock. Both are well travelled and see climbers there every weekend of the climbing season. Read more

It is important that this initiative is fully supported, it is well thought out, and it is of critical importance to protect the plant and animal habitats in these areas. Also, to support the well being of Canadians presently, and in the future, which is enhanced from visiting provincial parks.
