I strongly oppose bill 5. We require stronger environmental protections, not the other way around. Additionally, industry of all shapes must not be able to bypass protection restrictions or public oversight. Read more

I strongly oppose Bill 5, which seeks to dismantle critical environmental protections in Ontario and concentrate decision-making power in the hands of a few. This bill undermines transparency, public input, and the long-term health of our ecosystems in favour of short-sighted development. Read more

No to the proposed changes to the Endangered Species Act 2007. Please stop trying to work against nature to get your developments done at any cost. The disturbing ways you try to get these changes made indicate how wrong they are, and not in the best interests of Canadians or our country. Read more

I oppose bill 5. Strongly. I want more oversight on this actually, not less. We need stronger environmental protections and more oversight, not less. We can't really call ourselves canadian and continue being proud of our country if we don't actively look to safeguard and keep our flora and fauna.

I believe in 7 generation thinking which puts the future health of the Earth at the center. My children and their world is the most important thing. Speeding up development feels costly to their future and dangerous. The costs are far greater than the gains. Read more

I oppose bill 5. I want stronger environmental protections. Industry should have to go through long complex processes to protect the environment. Protecting the environment is important and should be prioritized.

I oppose bill 5. I want strong protections for the environment and endangered species. I oppose this bill that is just a shortcut for companies and will likely lead to more environmental damage.

We are in the year 2025 so surely you understand the difference between scientists telling you something and developers saying another thing. Any reasonable person could and should.

I oppose Bill no. 5. I want strong environmental protection for ours and our children’s future. There shouldn’t be any short cuts for industry for the collective benefits of our population.
