This is essentially skipping any due process and protections to our environment, endangered species, and our wellbeing. I oppose this bill wholeheartedly. Feels like Doug Ford is trying to sneakily get this passed while everyone is distracted. It's disgusting.
I reject this bill. There needs to be stricter policies for endangered species and less government over reach not more. The government needs more checks against what they are trying to do and we the people need more say in what they are attempting to slip past us.

In review of proposal as a citizen of Ontario am totally appalled that our Government feels they can unilaterally make changes to long standing environmental protections that the citizens have fought for over the past years. In particular for Highways that no one needs/ will use or wants..

Bill 5 should not be passed. The government should not be able to re-allocate land without oversight. There needs to be more protective action for ontario land. Please, do not pass this bill
I believe the 2007 ESA is important and we should not change it to make construction easier to transpire. This act is there for a reason to protect our environment, we are all living here together, we are not superior to these endangered species and we should live in harmony with them.
