this is an absolutely horrible idea. while I understand that housing and infrastructure are critical and we are in a bit of a crisis, doing irreversible damage to the environment and remove CRUCIAL protections for wildlife and endangered species is absolutely HORIFIC.

I strongly oppose the overriding of current laws against environmental interest. The implementation of bill 5 would put several endangered and threatened species at risk which is not something that should be taken lightly.
