I do not approve of Bill 5!! We need the endangered species act, we need to preserve land, we need to have approval from Indigenous people WHOSE LAND WE OCCUPY, and Bill 5 will take that all away. Read more

I do not support Bill 5. In Ontario, we need to protect our environment for future generations and this bill would make it easier to destroy the environment and make climate change progress more quickly. We need stronger environmental protections in Ontario

This proposal accuses the Endangered Species Act of being vague, but instead proposes even more vague language that will clearly not protect these species. This is tantamount to a death sentence for numerous species in the name of cronyism and developer profiteering. Read more
